Palm Springs

If you haven't been to Palm Springs, California yet, put it on your travel list. It's a really fun place to go and you'll make so many new memories and meet great people. Take the time to get to know the locals and get a taste of the vibe that's going on in Palm Springs!

LIVE OUT NEW EXPERIENCES...

Riding there with Tesloop is optional, but they have awesome Tesla cars that come with their very own driver. You can enjoy chatting in the back, taking photos and enjoying the journey without worrying about driving. The cars are very spacious, futuristic looking and clean. It almost feels like you are on a plane.

One of the best places to stay in Palm Springs is Elrod Villa, where you are greeted by the sweetest man named Reed, who makes sure that your stay is fabulous. He will make sure that you know where everything is in the villa and that you have everything you need. There are so many cool features, such as music and light settings, so you can have a ball! The villa itself has the most beautiful pool with sun loungers and a BBQ outside. It looks very tropical with all the colors and designs.

Stepping outside from the air conditioned villa, you can feel the sudden heat on your skin. If you get too hot and sweaty, then just take a dip in the nice cool pool. Just remember to take some time to explore what else Palm Springs has to offer!

There is a tram that goes up the mountain, taking you to a great locale that is perfect for exploring, taking a new adventure and seeing new things. The tram ride is great, as long as you are okay with heights! But hey, it's all about getting out of your comfort zone!

As you got to the top, you will get a very nice view. Try to go in the morning or early afternoon so that you have ample lighting to see the views and get decent photos. The natural lighting on the mountains looks amazing. Plus, if you get there too late, the very top of the mountain that you can access will be closed off. You get there via an extra set of stairs and there is a restaurant and bar up there which is very casual and relaxed. It could make for a really nice date spot.

Since you're up in the mountains, it can get chilly, so it's best to pack layers. When it's time for dinner, you will have plenty of places to choose from! There really is something for everyone here, and wherever you go, you'll be satiated and satisfied!

NIGHTLIFE IN PALM SPRINGS

A great restaurant to try out is 849. It has a pink and white interior; very classy, sophisticated and trendy. It's best to choose a couple of small plates so that you can all share and try so many new flavors. The signature cocktails are yummy, and you need to check out the desserts - they're big and shareable. One popular choice is the blueberry cocktail and the hot chocolate cake brownie with ice cream.

Another Palm Springs bar is called Birba which at night is the prettiest and most romantic place to go. The decor really makes the place. It's all outdoors, with lights and pretty trees all the way around, and sofas to sit on. Depending on the day and time of night you go, the service might be a little slow, but give the waiters a break!

LET'S EAT

For a satisfying brunch, go to Cheeky's, which is one of the most happening places in Palm Springs on a Saturday morning. There is always a bit of a wait, so make sure when you go that you are prepared! It's worth it though, because the food is great. There is also a bar right next door, where you can sip on a mimosa while you wait. Inside tip!

Some gems on the menu were the French toast and Eggs Benedict. After you indulge, head back to Elrod Villa to just laze around poolside or take a siesta in your room. What's your favorite Saturday tradition? Do you switch it up when you travel? Comment below!
